I am very pleased to announce I will be co-hosting for PODAS - Phase One Digital Artistry Series – with fashion photographer Drew Gardner in a spectacular location, for a world-class workshop in September.
The workshop extends over 4 days, exclusively hiring out the entire premises of the luxurious Weston Park, a stately home built in 1671, set within 1,000 acres of historic parkland in the Shropshire and Staffordshire countryside. 16 attendees will join us.
It’s a full inclusive event for all 16 attendees: covering 5* accommodation within Weston Park itself, all food and expenses including a grand Gala dinner and full use of a Phase One camera and 60mb IQ160 back. Everyone shoots with both Drew and I, learning about our process from shooting to editing, and hearing all the insights to our work. We’re shooting with a total of 4 fully-styled models decked out in beautiful period costumes, all gear and lighting equipment supplied.
If you’re interested in attending or are curious to read more, please head on over to Phase One’s website where you can view an itinerary, details on costings and everything else included, at the link here.

I have the pleasure of being accompanied by my assisting partner Matthew and we’re both looking forward to what will be an unforgettable experience, for us, and for all involved!
I am very pleased and honoured to have been asked to host this event. This is the first Portrait & Fashion workshop from PODAS, and the first in the UK. PODAS have run numerous, sell-out workshops in diverse locations worldwide, and I hope this one will be just as successful. My work has often crawled the line between ‘portraiture’ and ‘fashion’ as well as utilising interesting locations, so I feel this workshop is incredibly appropriate. I’m very excited to share my tips and processes in shooting dynamic, fashion-oriented portraits in this killer venue.
It’s also great to be back with Drew whom I have worked with before at Focus On Imaging a couple of years back. Our work has a certain synergy for a well made match, whilst our differences ensure the attendees experience two different bags of tricks and approaches.
