I have to say that after a year or so of taking self-portraits, The Bride, is my favorite. All the elements involved around the photo were just amazing, from the vision in my head to the actual photo. The energy was HIGH, as soon as I walked into the fair I got into character and I became the local celebrity. Never in my life had so many people walking by my side asking me questions and taking photos of me. People screamed from across the attractions pointing at me. It was a surreal experience.

I am an artist, attended drama school for three years, so I have no “shame” as my sister says. I want to be amazing, I want people to look at my photos and feel inspired, intrigue… I want people to come back to my website for more, so I have to push myself and think outside of the box!!

I am completely inspired by Miss Aniela; her talent as a photographer and a media artist are mind blowing! It is really an honor to have my photos processed by such a fantastic artist.

      Thank You!!

Just my own opinion (and beauty is in the eye of the beholder and all that) but the original image is just not very appealing. I hate to be negative to a fellow creative, and I haven’t a clue what “processing” was involved to make this (presumably) better than the original, but I’m reminded of the crude phrase “You can’t polish a turd”.

Hmmm. I’ve just seen the “FantasyLand” variation with all the cuddly toys. That’s great! Maybe I should investigate a cure for my Internet Tourette’s. You CAN polish a turd! :D

I disagree, I thought this was an excellent pic to work on, with ideal composition and confident expression/pose of the model.

      Cheers for your comment

I’m surprised that you didn’t delete my comment and delighted you took a moment to post a riposte. I just hope a flame war doesn’t develop because I disagree.
(My comment was fairly pointless, but even more pointless would be a thread that amounts to “I have better taste than you. Fuck off you loser!
No, you’re the loser…” etc. etc.
